NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 Windows 8 x64
I have just done a clean install of Windows 8 Pro and I can't get it to recognise my NVIDIA GPU. I have contacted Nvidia who told me to use a 32 bit driver which didn't work anyway. I have tried several different Nvidia 64 bit drivers but none of them work. I get the message that no compatible hardware is found. I know it's there and I've tried it on another laptop with the same GPU and that doesn't work. Has anyone got any idea how I can find a driver for this computer, please. If I can't find a driver I will have to ask Microsoft for a refund for Windows 8 as the best screen resolution I can get is 1024 x 768 which looks stupid on a 17" widescreen laptop. The laptop is an Acer Aspire 9302 with 2GB RAM and an AMD Turion x64 CPU.
