external hard drive not accessible with win8
I have windows 8. I removed the hard drive from an old laptop that was running windows 7. I placed it in a case to connect with USB. It worked the first two times that I used it. Now when I attempt to open it I get a message that says it is not accessible. It knows that it is there, the light is on, and I can feel it running, but nothing. I did a trouble shoot on it and it said everything was fixed but it still does not work. Any thoughts?
