Windows 8 doesn't detect my laptop's built-in network adapter
I am trying to share my laptop's internet connection to another computer, but my laptop's Ethernet adapter isn't working. When I plug it in , the lights light up , but windows doesn't say anything. It doesn't show it in device manager. I tried installing the driver, but it doesn't detect the adapter . Doesn't anyone know what to do? And the previous OS , windows 7 , worked perfectly with it.

you may need to update Ethernet adapter. Update from Manufacturer's website. Other possibilities include a problem with the connection your ISP is providing. Hope this helps and if you need further assistance post and we will be glad to assist you.
