My Lexar usb key is not being recognized properly in windows a lot of times it recognizes it as SM3254AD MEMORY BAR... I have all the updates for windows... this also happens at school on windows 7 pc's

Method 1: Use a troubleshooter to fix the issue:

a. Type "Troubleshooting" on the start screen and hit enter

b. Click on â€œHardware and Soundâ€

c. Select Hardware and devices,

d. Run the troubleshooter and restart the computer.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the drivers:

a. Type Device manager on start screen and select "Settings"

b. Expand USB controller

c. Uninstall all the drivers and restart the computer. The drivers will be reinstalled again.
