Upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. Apparently users can no longer selectively choose which updates to install and which to reject. Windows updates are automatic and seem to work fine. Except for one. I keep getting a failed update, Office XP Service Pack 3 - Error 0x80096004. Which confuses me, because my PC has never had Office XP. Why does Windows Update keep trying to install this? Any advice on how to fix this update error?

Worked for me by downloading for Windows 10 the "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter package.

Office XP Service Pack 3 - Error 0x80096004 has disapeared.
