"Windows Time (W32Time)" is a Windows Server 2012 service that maintains date and time synchronization on all clients and servers in the network. If this service is stopped, date and time synchronization will be unavailable.

"Windows Time" service is provided by the svchost.exe program, see "svchost.exe Executable Program on Windows Server 2012" for details.
