"System Idle Process" process is a dummy process of Windows 8 operating system. It represents idle time of CPU resources.
On the Processes tab of "Task Manager", "System Idle Process" may be listed as:
Image Name PID User Name CPU Memory Description System Idle Process 0 SYSTEM 97% 24 K Percentage of time the processor is idle
"System Idle Process" process is not a virus. You should not terminate "System Idle Process" process.
