Windows 10 Setup - Choose Privacy Settings
How to choose privacy settings during the Windows 10 initial setup process?
✍: FYIcenter.com
When you see the "Choose your privacy settings for your device" screen,
make the following settings:
Location - Windows and apps can't use your location to provide things like local weather, direction, and Find My Device. Off Diagnostics - At the basic level, you'll be sending Microsoft less data to help fix errors you encounter. Basic Relevant Ads - The number of ads you see won't change, but they may be less relevant to you. Off Speech recognition - You can't talk to Cortana or apps from the Store. Off Tailored experiences with diagnostic data - The tips you get will be more generic and recommendations may be less relevant to you. Off
Basically, turn off all settings that may affect your privacy. Then click "Accept" to continue.
