Turning off "Recent Files" on Windows 10
Can I stop Windows 10 to store and show recent files? I don't want my boss to know what files I was looking at when he borrows my computer.

Yes, you can turn off the store and show recent files function on Windows 10:
Right-mouse click on the task bar and select "Taskbar settings". You will see the "Settings" dialog box.
Click "Start" tab and uncheck the "Show recently opened items in Jump list on Start or the taskbar" option.
Windows 10 will stop storing and showing recent files from now on.
If you don't see the above option in the "Taskbar settings", open system "Settings > Personalization > Start". Then uncheck the "Show recently opened items in Jump list on Start or the taskbar" option.
You can also run "gpedit.msc", go to "User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar" and enable "Do not keep history of recently opened documents".
