sv*.tmp Temporary Files
What are sv*.tmp Temporary Files on my Windows 7 computer? Can I remove them?
✍: FYIcenter.com
sv*.tmp Temporary Files
are created by OpenOffice programs like Document, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Drawing, etc.
They are located in the \Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp folder.
Each time when you run an OpenOffice program, it will create a new sv*.tmp file with 3 random characters in the middle of the file name like "svlm0.tmp".
The problem with sv*.tmp files is that OpenOffice programs do not remove them after programs closed. So you will have a lots of sv*.tmp files, if you have used OpenOffice programs for some time.
Yes. You can delete older sv*.tmp Temporary Files files to keep the temporary file folder clean.
