Can I disable Windows service "MS Software Shadow Copy Provider" to speedup my computer?

Windows service "MS Software Shadow Copy Provider" - Manages software-based volume shadow copies taken by the Volume Shadow Copy service. If this service is stopped, software-based volume shadow copies cannot be managed. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
Execution command: C:\WINDOWS\System32\dllhost.exe /Processid:{CD5B266E-9607-47A1-BEAE-F890BAFF9A14}
If you are not doing backups, you can disable "MS Software Shadow Copy Provider", freeing up at least 2MB of memory.
