Reinstall Windows 8 Software Development Kit?
I downloaded this and the installation failed, however now whenever I run the setup for the SDK it says that it is installed and is the most recent version. I can confirm the install failed and there is no other options for reinstalling, repairing, uninstalling, etc. Does anyone know how to get around this?

I would suggest you to check if the Windows 8 Software Development Kit is present in “Programs and Features†and if it is present there, then remove it completely from your computer and then try reinstalling it using its setup file. To check if it is present in “Programs and Features†you may follow these steps:
a) Press “Windows Logo†+ “X†keys from the keyboard and select “Programs and Features†from that list.
b) In the “Programs and Features†window, search for the Windows 8 Software Development Kit which you had tried to install.
c) If it is present, then click on it and then select “Uninstallâ€.
d) Follow the on-screen instructions and then restart the computer.
e) After the restart, try running its setup file again and check if you are able to reinstall it.
Hope this is helpful. If this does not fix the issue, then please feel free to get back to us for further troubleshooting on this issue.
