transferring user apps to new computer
I'm running win 8 and plan to buy a new computer with win 8 installed. Is there a way to transfer my user applications intact without re-installing them.

You will have to reinstall desktop applications such as Microsoft Office. But for Modern applications purchased through the Windows Store, you can easily reinstall those by signing in using your Microsoft Account.
Open the Windows Store app from the Start Screen
Press Windows key + Z
Click Your Apps
Reinstall apps you have downloaded or purchased
Windows 8 permits you reinstall your Modern apps on up to 5 PCs.
