Windows 8 Visual Cues does not turn off?
In Control Panel > Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center > Use text or visual alternatives for sounds. I un-checked all boxes, chose 'none' for "Chose visual warning" and it does not turn off. Is there anyway to fix this or reset the Ease of Access/Control Panel seetings?

You may face this issue if Windows system files are corrupted. First try restarting the computer and check. Follow these methods and check if it helps:
Method 1: You cannot reset Ease of Access settings, however you can try performing system restore and check if it helps. Follow these steps:
Press Windows key + R
Type rstrui and press enter.
Click Next and choose the restore point, when your computer was working fine.
System Restore disclaimer: When you use System Restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you installed are removed.
Method 2: I would suggest you to run System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) and check if it helps. The System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) scans for missing or corrupted system files and repairs them.
Run System File checker to see if you have any corrupted system files.
