WORD how to put a file back into edit mode

I sent out a document and they sent it back with edits that are strike outs with notes side. I can not delete the strike outs, and do ot know how to get rid of the notes. It also prints smaller. How do I get the document back into normal edit mode?

Use the "review" tab at the top of the screen. There you can turn off the "show comments" options so that the notes the other people made are hidden from view. Or you can make your own notes (they will show up in their own color). This is so that many people can all work together on a single shared file, and you can "accept" or "reject" the changes that they made, without spending all the time to carefully edit and create a new file.
