"Plug and Play (PlugPlay)" is a Windows Server 2012 service that
enables a computer to recognize and adapt to hardware
changes with little or no user input. Stopping or
disabling this service will result in system instability.

"Plug and Play" service is provided by the svchost.exe program, see "svchost.exe Executable Program on Windows Server 2012" for details.
Disabling "Plug and Play" service will cause issues on running Windows 2012 Server.
