Unable to download Windows 8.1 due to Administrator privileges error
I just got a new computer, which came preinstalled with Windows 8. After installing the Windows Updates, I received a notification in the Microsoft store that I could upgrade to Windows 8.1. Once I try to download, I get the following error: "You need to use an account with Administrator privileges to install Windows 8.1, try logging in with the user account of an administrator of this PC, and trying the update again."
However, I am the only user on my PC, and I double checked the Users settings and it says that I am the administrator.

I have read reports that uninstalling Windows Update KB2871389, and then reinstalling it resolved the problem. It usually seems to work...

You can uninstall it by going to Programs and Features and selecting "View Installed Updates" on the upper left.... Scroll through the list, and right click on it to get the uninstall option.
